I'm wondering if anyone could either provide or point me in the direction of a list of Mobile GPUs ordered by performance. I'm looking into purchasing a laptop for portability reasons and I'm confused over how the different mobile GPUs stack up.

check out this link on nvidia's site. I just got myself a laptop for my uni work and was checking out what my graphic were like the other day. Also if do google geforce go you should get some articles from there too. Not sure about ATI tho. Im sure there must be a similar thing on their site.

They stack up the same way as the Desktop ones do.

A laptop GPU is always slightly slower than it's Desktop counterpart though, as sacrifices have to be made for heat/power issues.
