Laptop GPU

Hello guys, im currently gaming on my laptop which has a nvidia GeForce GT 240M 1GB I'm playing APB (all points bulletin) I've resorted to 1024x768 on the lowest settings and still getting unplayable frame rates is there a driver update that i could for some improvement ? Any suggestions would be nice

Ok what sort of graphics card could I put in there? I assume it would have to Nvidia I was looking at the Nvidia Quadro fx3600. seems decent and far better than the current 240m.

Will a Ati card work within my Acer 5739G? going on the basis it's got a dual core intel chip and a Nvidia card or will laptops take either?

So it is doable now what card should I get? I assume it has to have a certain power supply and that it doesn't reach 100 degrees xD

I wasn't looking to quadruple performance maybe double it to make it playable on APB (all points bulletin)

4670 would be an amazing upgrade Just have to find where to buy them from.

My acer aspire 5739g is a MXM 3.0 A slot right? if so I think it'll take the gts 250m
