Laptop graphic drivers problem

I have a laptop with an ATI X1350 graphics card. I installed the latest graphic drivers (had not done this ever before) and now games are playing slower
I played Race the WTCC game at smooth-enough frames (lowest settings) and after the update it now runs at very low FPS.

I uninstalled the old drivers and installed the new ones, anything I might have missed?

Try using drivercleaner pro (free program) to remove all traces of old drivers before reinstalling new drivers.
