Laptop Graphics (7600Go)

Guys,

Looking at buying a new laptop with a GeForce 7600 SE 256MB Go graphics chip in it... I'm not a big PC gamer, but was hoping to run PlanetSide and a bit of C&C 3 on this machine.

I was wondering if anyone with a laptop with this chip in it could give me some feedback on how it performs in games. I know this can't compete with desktops. The rest of the laptop spec is more-than-capable.

C&C 3 seems to be pretty heavy on graphics, you night struggle with a 7600 unless all the settings are turned down low.

Well C&C 3 is just a tweaked version of the Sage engine that Generals uses, so here's hoping it's not that demanding.

I run a lappy with 7600go (not SE, but clocks are lower than my 7600GT in my main PC). But i'm running Call of Duty ot the moment, have played MAx Payne 2 right through on it and I am very impressed indeed. Graphics and resolution top spec. the lappy is a HP pavilion 8333dv. screen is 1400x900 if i recall. nice machine, not one for lugging about though, it's big
