Laptop Graphics help please

hi there all

I have a dell inspiron 8500 desktop replacement, with a Radeon Mobility ATI 9000 with 32mb on board (yes I know..very old and outdated) however, the main purpose of this laptop was to play EVEONLINE (classic version) while on my travels and had no problems, until eve updated thier client and now only support SHADER MODEL 2.0 and above. I believe my card only supports Shader model 1.0.

Q.IS there any way (software) I could upgrade or overclock or do anything to it to make it work on Shader Model 2.0?

in a word - nope.

You could give DELL aftersales support a phone to see if they can offer a graphics card update to your laptop. Dont get your hopes up though.

Thanks fellas, it seems my mobile aming days are over for now, will have to source a 2nd hand lappy that can run it
