Im a PC person, don't know much about laptop hardware, so need some help. I've always prefered AMD, but i heard intel are better now?

Anyway which one of the following would you consider a better spec, both pretty much the same price. Graphics card, and processor, which ones are better?

If i had to choose id go with the second one, tough call but the slightly bigger HDD is a plus, and you get the DVD RW.

Im put off dell cuz they pad their description out with such useful things such as a: "Internal 56k V.92 Modem" I mean really who cares about an internal dial up modem!

turion is dual core and the intel one is not ?
