Hello

Can anyone recommend laptop insurance, after just ordering a Dell M1530 I would like to get it covered for accidental damage/theft.

Can anyone recommend any insurance? I realise it may well be covered on my home insurance but would rather keep it seperate because the premiums for home insurance will go up if I claim.

I want to go with someone that is going to actually provide decent cover, so if I do drop the laptop they will offer a repair/replacement and not just fob me off with some legal babble..

Thanks

Richard

My other one was insured by the shop I bought it from, but my newest one the retailer wouldnt offer it.

Ive been meaning to contact endsligh to see if they can do it, as they offer many insurance services, but im not sure if they do or not.

My MBP is insured through Zurich, £1800 value premium is about £110 for the year.

Covers me for just about everything apart from leaving it in a car, 10% excess to pay for any claims. Even covers it if i go abroad anywhere for upto 30 days at a time which is handy with the amount of travelling I do.

Dell have their own insurance, you can insure your laptop up to 4 yrs against accidental damage and they should replace it with the latest kit.
