Here are a few ones for you dude.

11.6" 1366x768 AMD E-450/AMD Radeon HD 6320 Graphics.

The little Sony is ideal as it is cheap and does the job, the screen size may put you mate off, however it will get the job done. Warranty: 6 Months.

15.6" 1366x768 AMD A10-4600M/AMD Radeon HD 7660G & HD7670M.

The Samsung is ideal for what he needs if a little overpowered, but for what he will be getting it is super cheap and will easily do the job. Warranty: 2yr.

17.3" 1600 x 900 Intel i5-2450M/Geforce 410M 512MB GDDR5.

This Sony will power through any number crunching tasks and with a higher res will make watching films enjoyable. Warranty: 6 Months.

Personally l would go for the Samsung Trinity powered laptop, does everything he will need, with a 2 yr warranty plus have longevity on its side.

Total thread crash but there really is no point in me starting a new one!

We are looking for a laptop to do pretty much the same as the OP, I'm going to pull the trigger on the above laptop for £349.99 today unless someone points me in the direction of something better for the money!
