It would appear my laptop has got a virus, its coming up on bootup telling me about it and firefox and IE both crash when I try and load them up.
For the life of me I cant remember the warning message I get on bootup but ive tried all the obvious things, safe mode, etc etc to no avail!
I have backed up all my files and just considering resetting windows completely, is this something I should be avoiding at all costs? I mean software is easy to get back on there but things such as the internal wireless adapter etc, will they function ok straight after. One major issue is that we cant find the windows Xp disc which im sure will turn up somewhere but for now we are CD-less.
