Hi,

Well the other half walked past the laptop and my cup of coffee was very close to it...

She said some accidentally split on the keyboard...Now the keys are not working....

How hard is it to change the keyboard on a laptop?

Is it possible to change it?

Please help

thanks

Should be able to take the laptop apart and remove the keyboard. Not entirely sure where you'd find a replacement, but it can be done.

Ive had the exact same problem with a cup of orange juice and a sister...
Took it to someone to sort out as messing with laptop parts is fiddly, at best.
To access my full keyboard you have to take apart almost the entire laptop, but i dare say most are better designed.

Turned out that the keyboard connections were just messed up by the orange juice dryinging and all that was needed was a pretty thorough cleaning.

So to some it up...its worth getting someone who takes these things apart for a living to have a look at it.
