Got two laptops new ones bought into me by my nephews.. neither will even boot up even once plugged in.. does this mean dead battery's or should they boot with battery's removed if the power is connected..
looked both up and cant find this out.. also one of them the power supply squeaks once plugged in..
if its not the power supplys and battery can the power supply sockets be changed on the motherboard if faulty.. one also needs a new screen. but found and not expensive..
in case you need them.. one a compaq presario CQ56 the other an acer aspire 8935g
used to building desktops laptops are new to me..
