Hi,
I was working on my laptop and picked it up to move it elsewhere. As I picked it up it moved sideways with the side fan against the desk (its the smallest EeePC (701) holding it in one corner doesn't cause it damage). Suddenly I heard a series of clattering sounds, like the fan had picked up some dirt off the desk and was propelling it through the system
. The laptop kept working, but I turned it off ASAP. I'm now a bit worried that whatever it's sucked in might be still in it - I certainly didn't notice anything being chucked out.
What's the best course of action - compressed air through all the holes or would you take it apart just in case (really don't want to do this though)?
