Thanks dean

sorry for late reply it is so annoying trying to sort through my videos, i have downloaded vcl player but when go into videos or pictures it loads on the top with the green bar and gets half way then the pointer has the round loading sign then just shuts the programs and back to my home screen with no programs open. the blue screen is only on for a second and no writing etc just as if windows is just starting up,the whole laptop just goes back to the desktop screen when you first log on with recycle bin and all my other programs

any ideas would be very helpful

thanks dean

Turn off the 'automatically reboot when error' option when you go into:

Advanced system settings > Start up and recovery > System failure - untick

hi everyone, well turned off auto reboot but still closes all programs, i went onto windows event viewer and when go onto security if thats the correct one and has 18,275 events the most latest ones are codes 4907,4647,4634,4797 im i giving you the correct information is it the security one i should be looking at ? should i clear all logs and make it do it again or what

thanks again dean

No you need to look in:

Windows logs > system > Filter current log

tick critical and error options.

hellow and thanks for reply done that and there is 81 events lots say Distributedcomm some say service control manager some say kernal-power but mainly the first 2, i could take a screen shot if that would help or any other information you need

thanks dean

Kernel power is not good, usually an unstable overclock but I know your using a laptop.

Give the screenshots of the most popular errors.
