I bought my laptop a year and a half ago. A Samsung one. Last month its HDD was broken and got replaced, but until now after got the HDD fixed it still sometimes froze. But once I pressed Ctrl Alt Del it went back to normal. Should I worry about this?

Not the biggest expert on these things but that sounds like a software thing, I'd backup important files and reformat using recovery disks (assuming you made them).
I should add that this might be a drastic action and there are things that you can try I like a good reformat.
