Laptop keyboard not working

So the girlfriend dropped a cup of tea on her laptop and now the keyboard is playing up.

I let it dry out but when turned on one of the keys was acting as if it was stuck down ( just fills the password box with letters).

I've taken it apart and checked all keys and they are ok so I'm assuming its the mb or connection.

Is there anything else worth trying ? I've given it a clean as well.

The keys might physically work but it will be the membrane that's shorting out , try a new keyboard first.
