laptop keyboard problem

i have just reset a Acer Aspire laptop and the keyboard works in bios but not in windows

it will be something silly but i cant work it out
any idea

Go Start ==> Windows System ==> Control Panel ==> Hardware and Sound ==> Devices and Printers

What keyboard do you see in there, if any? Also try going into

Go Start ==> Windows System ==> Control Panel ==> Hardware and Sound ==> Device Manager and 'scan for changes'
