Laptop LCD into Case

Afternoon,

Some time ago I saw a thread about somebody who had put a laptop lcd into a pc case. Looks awesome.

Does anyone have any decent links for this? I happen to have a spare 15" laptop tft kicking around and fancy a challenge.

It will cost more than buying a 15" LCD with the right connectors on to do this.

I'm not sure whether it was badass or not. Hopefully he will let us know.

I've got a few connectors from the laptop, if it costs too much ill just throw the screen away.

Rilot had a perspex case with a monitor in it, but I'm certain it was a stripped desktop screen as opposed to the panel from a laptop.

That could be it. A desktop LCD would be easier as you have the connections for a graphics card.

Yeah, its probably Riliots one that your thinking of. It was notorious for cooking harddrives though.
