Laptop losing drivers, any ideas?

I have a toshiba laptop, that I brought about a year ago and latley it has been losing its graphics card drivers. This only seems to happen when I play DVDs. I have tried re-installing the drivers from the C.D provided and also from the ATI website.

Its not the DVD as I have tried others. I do not think its the software either as I have never had problems in the first year and I have tried reinstalling that too.

No need to post the thread twice. If its deletes drivers after reboot, alls i can think is that it is unstable and windows is going into Last Known Good Configration which resets things, so i would upgrade the graphics card drivers to the latest to see if its more stable.
