laptop losing time even when plugged in

never ever have i ever seen this, the laptop is losing minutes in minutes even when plugged in.

any ideas ?

Do you mean that the laptop is losing charge whilst you have plugged it in?

Are you sure it's not the laptop that is faulty but the perception of time of yourself?

Is this a relatively old laptop? It screams dead/dying CMOS battery to me.
