Laptop Lost Password NEED HELP TO GET IN ASAP

Hi my uncle passed a way last week and as a resalt my family would like to know what he was doing in term of business. Now they have asked me to find a way to log in to his laptop and I do recall henris boot cd*i think has this feature but I am not sure. Can any one tell me a free way to get loged in to windows laptop with free software or if their is some paid software that can do this.
I need to get access to the laptop soon but needs to longed in.

Before you try anything, make an image of the harddrive. I'm pretty sure that encrypted files are gone once the password has been changed, but I could be thinking of something else - that's why I advise on imaging the drive before touching it.

use the sticky keys method, as long as it's not a MS account login system it should work

or take the HDD out, connect it to a standard PC and away you go

I used the sticky keys method, it does work. Don't know about Hirens cd or if anyone has the foresite to use the password reset disk!

I have found OPHCRACK useful in the past. I can't claim to have used it recently so it may not be effective or supported any longer.

Ophcrack is a free Windows password cracker based on rainbow tables. It is a very efficient implementation of rainbow tables done by the inventors of the method. It comes with a GUI and runs on multiple platforms.
