Laptop memory prices

Hi all,

I don't know if anyone noticed it, but laptop memory price for 1x2gb is £31 and for 2x2gb is £82 so why would I want to get 2x2gb but 2 of 1x2gbs? this is weird.

that is abit weird lol?
not sure maybe its more expensive because its a kit? what is the brand and model of the memory your talking about? (dont link to competitors btw just put a description up)

are they the same spec, brand and model?

If yes then it might be because they are a dual channel kit, they are tested together to make sure they guarantee to work together. If you buy 2 sticks seperately there is no guarantee they will work together.
