laptop mobo's

Im facing a bit of a tough time getting a laptop working again and through many, many tests have concluded that the motherboard on it must be broken, its not within warranty but its worth repairing considering absolutely everything else on it works

its a medion laptop, fairly recent supporting amd turion x2 and integarted nvidia 7 series graphics, was just wondering how easy would it be to get hold of a replacement board? will any laptop mobo do it will it have to be specific to the model/make?

It has to be the specific board for the notebook chassis. You may be able to find one on fleabay perhaps?

yea thats what i was thinking, ive had a brief look but it hard to tel what will fit and what wont, may just end up having to take the chance
