Hi guys. Looking for a really cheap laptop at the moment, preferably second hand (so as to reduce the price). Basically the main trouble is that there's SO many on the bay that I really don't know what to look for - basically I just need advice on what makes and models are good and reliable (especially old ones that are likely to be around second hand on the bay).

I'm looking to spend under £100 - just need something to port work around that can run office\itunes\play small videos etc. If it's got built in wireless that'd be a bonus but doesn't matter too much.

Also, someone's offering a Packard Bell Easynote on my university market place - they any good reliability wise?

Thanks in advance :)

the bay tend to be all in a frenzy and go for much more than they are worth, people pay 200 for 4 year old laptops, you can buy them new for 299, PB are ok for quality wise not great but not bad either, for 100 id expect to get something like a low end P3 with cd rom, u can get a wifi pcmcia for about 10 quid

Don't have all the details on the PB, or even if it's still available, but for arguments sake what she's listed is:

Packard Bell Easynote. Silver.
74.5 GB memory
4 USB ports.
LAN & Wireless connection.
Intel Celeron processor, 1.30 GHz.
Carry case with it.

Asking for £100, will probably offer £70
