my work laptop, a dell vostro 1000, is not charging the battery, i have confirmed that the battery is fine as it will charage in my colleauges (sp?)
when i first turn the laptop on with it connected to the AC power source it tells me that the AC power source cannot be determined.
any ideas? this is really irritating me having to get the power supply out everytime i need to use the thing as im a field engineer
i feel embarased to tell customer that i cant do the work for them as my laptop needs to be run on AC power all the time and they have no power sockets close by
