A situation has come up where I might need to connect a laptop to display on two 49" LG comedy wides.

GPU would be Intel on chip. Just work stuff, not gaming. Don't ask.... its a work thing! Personally I think theyre mad!

Can anyone help confirm if there would be any issues pumping out to that many pixels. Laptop has 1x USB-C and 1x mini DP output.

Its not my call, but offered to ask the collective... :)

Worst case you just run them at 1080 resolution, shouldn't be too taxing as long as its not gaming (as you said) or full hd video files.
Use reasonable quality convertors though.

If it's nothing intensive i.e. no gaming, 4k video playback etc and a relatively modern (last few years) laptop, with the right display outputs available, I don't see why it would be an issue.

If it helps you can get USB-C to Dual HDMI adapters for £25-30 region as well.

As a matter of interest, have they a specific project in mind requiring the use of two 49" comedy panels? Someone has obviously lost their mind over at your place of work or....they have had the same idea as you and ordered the monitors fully expecting to keep one (or both) when the madness is finally over. lol
