? When your mother uses it at school i would say she's on a domain.
It should be rather simple, but it depends on the set up of the laptop. For example her school may be using a proxy server which will be entered into lan settings on her computer and the administrator may removed access to the connections tab using a GP. This means she will be unable to use the net at home without removing the proxy settings.
So firstly check and see if she has access to the connections tab and can remove these settings.
If so remove them and then simply connect to your wireless network home and your flying.
She will more than likely have full access. The only issue is that the workgroup at home and school are called something different. At home it needs to be part of the workgroup for file and printer sharing.
Would it simplify the whole process if I renamed the workgroup at home to match the school one, and changed the user account she uses at home to match the school one?
