Hey all,

Just after some thoughts really, sold off my gaming pc about two years ago and am now wanting to get back into some MMO action.

Only problem is due to (those pesky) kids i now have limited space so my options are to either go for a laptop or a desktop that i run through my TV (1080p).

Are there any downsides to using my TV with a desktop ? would a laptop be the better option ?

I'm thinking budget wise around 1k, i know i will get more bang for my £ with a desktop.

If it was me I'd go with the desktop option. A friend of mine recently bought a laptop for gaming and to be honest it struggles a bit on some of his games. I think he paid about £500 for it, so maybe not the best.

Looks like i can get quite a decent spec for my money, wonder if i could add a second SSD instead of the mechanical drive and an OS for around 1300ish.....

Next problem if i do go down the desktop route will be some kind of wireless keyboard, which i know would be less than ideal for gaming.
