Laptop Payment Plan

Without listing any competitors.. I am in the market for a laptop for uni/general use.

Does anyone know of any retailers that offer a finance/payment plan?

Surely would be better to to purchase via a low interest credit card or transfer to one offering 0% interest for a fixed period?

Will work out cheaper than a finance plan from a retailer.

Sounds like the stereotypical use for a student loan. I think I'd buy a cheap second hand one before buying one on finance, laptops devalue too quickly for that to appeal.
