Hey got a really weird problem with my laptop (Samsung v25). I know it's a couple of years old so not the fastest thing to begin with, but when I have it plugged into the mains, it runs fine, video doesn't stutter and it can keep up with my typing. But when it is running off of it's battery the performance is really poor. video is stuttery, firefox runs like a fox with three legs and just can't keep up with what I'm typing.
So have any of you guys ever experienced something like this before?
As far as I am aware this laptop doesn't have any sort of stepping on the CPU to under clock it when it's not running on the mains.
Any help would be great.

Well I ran CPU-Z and it didn't see my smaller RAM module, so i took that out and all has been fixed, i'm now down to 512megs but everything seems to be working a lot better now. Damn old laptops, may well be the excuse I need to buy a new one, any suggestions people?
