laptop please

i shall be needing a laptop soon for around £500 (don't really have any more money to spend than that)

Will need about 120gig drive and 1 if not 2 gig of ram and the rest decent specs, it will be used for everything!

No idea what to go for really ,any ideas?

just been looking around and i hadnt realised how out of touch i have been with technology lately, i have no idea what half the processors and gfx cards are called and how good they are :eek:

And £500 is a little cheap lol

I wouldn't get anything worse than an X700 for gaming... I think the X1300 is OK too, but do some research on mobile graphics before you decide. If you're going to play games, sacrifice CPU power for GFX power. Also, buy with less ram and upgrade the ram later - it'll work out cheaper and is very easy to upgrade
