Laptop - Possible memory issue?

Recently changed from Vista x86 to Ultimate 64, now i'm getting random BSOD.

Laptop is M1530 with 4gig Ram.

Ran memtest on each stick seperately with no errors, as soon as memtest starts (10% through first test) it closes down and reboots laptop. Any ideas?

Sounds like RAM to be honest. But as you've just changed could be a driver issue.

So you run memtest when sticks are in seperatly and it has no errors. but when they are both in is crashes?

Yeah, seperately and in either slot - No errors
Together, it crashes. I switched slots to see if that made a difference and it didn't/

Any ideas or should I just get in touch will Dells tech?

Sounds like it might be the motherboard then. But someone with more wisdom may come along and say otherwise.
