Recently formatted a laptop newish acer one and put windows 7 on it did all the updates few restarts etc etc not a problem' but if I turn it of and back on I get the post screen and a flashing cursor... reloaded win 7 twice now but after a hard/cold boot it don't see the HD... and its set in the bios boot order ... I have installed win 7 on the AHCI and the SATA controller options..I can boot from the dvd drive and load win7 on the HD but reluctant to try a 3rd time any options ideas?
