laptop probs...

i wiped laptop a few days ago, started fresh, and now have it running with anti malwarebyes and mcafee running,
i havent watched any porn on it!!!!
, just been online on here and fb and email i think, fcuking thing running like a tw4t already, fan constantly kicking in, and memory showing at least 80% usage all the time

any help appreciated, its a pretty new laptop, not had it long, its a toshiba satellite pro M370, running 2gb ram, and Intel core i3 2.40ghz, windows 7, 64 bit

just checked processes on task manager, firefox*32 using up around 635,000k WTF?!??!?!?!?

so i closed firefox, but still had firefox process running in task manager so ended it in there, memory usage straight down to 44%
just opened firefox again, currently running 67,000k, and slowly the creeping up with fan starting to kick in again, bloody thing!

i know theres obviously and issue with firefox here, so any help would be great, on another note, is it worth me getting some ram? say upto 6-8gb or something>?

How many tabs did you have opened? I've got about 24 tabs opened in IE8 and using about 5gb memory. Are you running anti-malaware/virus etc?

I'd update Windows to Sp1 if you haven't already, and yes with 64 i'd want at least 4gb memory, more the merrier.

You might want to edit your post heavily or you're looking at a suspension at the least i guess.

lol, thanks, i'd had a drink, and was ready to throw laptop through the window!

i'll look at upgrading the memory
only had 1 tab open
seems a lot better now i'm using opera, still not perfect though, still only running mcafee and anti malwarebytes (will scrap mcafee once trial period is over)

will cheeck updates also
