I am looking to buy 2 new Laptops for my fishing club, we are a nonprofit making organisation and have been looking at the refurbished because we don't have lots of money. However, I am getting confused about the processors; I take it the i3 is the latest and best? Only have £200/£230 to spend not to bothered about size of the hard drive. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't know much about AMD processors so I'll talk only about the intel ones. One thing I will say is that the Athlon II X2 at least are pretty old.

Of the intel, the i3 are the newest. Specifically, from your list, the 2310M which is a generation later than the i3-3*0.

The celerons and the pentiums are pretty old and I definitely wouldn't buy them now.

Of the i3s the 2130 is the best because it is the newest and fastest, but if the 370 is a fair bit cheaper it is worth considering.

If you are looking at refurbished laptops then the DELL outlet is well worth a look.
