I have an Asus A2D which I'm running atm...
There are 2x256mb sticks of PC2100 in there atm, but I'm upgrading this next week to 2x512mb of PC2700 (i imagine this will perform better than 2x512 at PC2100, although please correct me if i'm wrong).
The other thing i'd like to know, although i've been on the ASUS website, is whether or not I can upgrade the mobo capability from a max. of 1gb memory to 2gb of memory. Would this not be a BIOS upgrade? There is no mention of it on the Asus site...can anyone help!?
The actual model of the laptop is the A2500D.
