Hi,

I have a Razer Blade 15 (2018). This laptop comes standard with 16Gb DDR4 SODIMM 2667Mhz RAM (2x 8Gb).
As it can be extended to 64Gb I’d like to do this within the next few weeks.

My question is, I’d like to go for RAM that is 3200Mhz rather than 2667Mhz for obvious reasons, how do I know if my laptop is limited in regards to what speed of RAM can be installed? Ideally want to avoid buying 3200Mhz if my laptop can only run with 2667Mhz.

Thanks in advance :)

Lookup your model number on the Razer site. I had a quick look and it didn’t mention anything higher than 2667. From what I’ve seen, Intel don’t take advantage of faster RAM anyway.

Also, 32GB would be more than enough unless you’re using it for productivity tasks that require more memory.
