Laptop Ram speed how to

I got this laptop

I also got 64GB of RAM now the default ram that came with the laptop runs at 2933MHz, but the new ram only goes to 2667MHz. I have checked the bios and can't set an xmp profile as it's not there. If anyone can help me so I can set the ram to the speed of 2933 and for any that does not know it won't go to 3200 because it's only 10th gen.

Some laptops that don't have the XMP option require ram that runs the faster speed in the JEDEC profile.

So if I get something like this it will auto go to 2933MHz and I wont need to change anything in the bios

Yeah the speed should scale down although I'm not sure if the timings will so you might be better off with something like this.

quick update got my new ram and it now runs at the correct speed thank you for your help
