Hi,
I am looking to upgrade the RAM on my laptop from 8gb to 16gb, as I am having to use it for GIS software more and more. The laptop is a HP Pavilion 15 bc400na - it comes with 8gb DDR4 standard.
What I'd like to know is could I buy a single 8gb SODIMM stick to upgrade, or should I just fork for a 2x8gb kit? If I could buy a single 8gb stick to use, what should I opt for?
CPU-Z RAM info for reference
Thanks in advance
