As above the laptop is an Asus rog g751j purchased from overclockers, purchased sept 2015.
Recently i have been experiencing random drops in connection, the laptop then takes 5-10 minutes to re-establish the connection. My isp is sky, there are other computers in the house just now for example prior to this thread my laptop dropped its connection but my sons machine was fine, this in my opinion says the issue is at my laptop end and not router or isp.
Looking in device manager at the network adaptors properties i have an Intel(R) Dual band wireless-AC7260 adaptor and if i do a driver update i apparently have the latest drivers installed 18.33.5.1 from 2016
So my question is what next? this is a small annoyance which i can live with but would like to sort, can be rather frustrating getting dc'd while playing eve
any advice appreciated
looking at InSSidder i am currently using channel 1 all the neighbors seem to like channel 11 my signal strenght is -46 dbm all the others are in the -72 to -91 range also just noticed my security is WPA personal (guess i should change this to WPA2)
