Laptop recommendation £400-450 - help?

Hi guys, my first time in the laptop forum

A friend of mine has asked what she should get for approx £400-450. If she wanted a desktop i could have reeled off the parts without a second thought, but when it comes to laptops i dont really know much.

She would like it to be able to:

• Stream TV shows
• Play DVDs (not HD)
• Web browsing
• Music
• Widescreen approx 15"
• She mentioned Need for Speed so some sort of gfx card would be nice
• MS Office (basic package)
• 3yr Warranty

I told her to wait 1 month until W7 is released rather than getting vista with an upgrade voucher.

The bay has some inspirons with 3 years warranty all in not sure if you will get anything better direct from dell but worth a shot, I'd say check the outlet but they only have one year as standard.....
