laptop recommendation

yo folks , well heres the story.

Im planning on selling my desktop pc(if i can find some1 interested)as i dont game as much anymore

and sitting behind a 37" tv for a monitor is starting to annoy me.

so once i sell ill have money to spend on a laptop. ive been back and forward between places but still cant decide. so im needing ur helps

I need a laptop that will be reasonably fast. Ill mainly be using it for well the Inet , watching movies etc. photoshop since ill be using it for college,

game wise: Bf2 , Bf2142, and some PKR. and possibly Left4dead

Since My desktop is a gaming one, i have high standards, so a laptop that wont stress me would be nice

I'd say i have around 750 to spend , so one around that price would be great.

so anyone got any recommendations?

what size are you looking at? 15,16,17 inch? Look at Dell Studio XPS' and maybe HP HDX16

hmmm id say either 16 or 17 , and im not sure on the HDX 16 , everywhere ive looked at their all up at the £1000 mark again

Oh, Mmmm, id take a look at the dell site, at least there you can spec up your own laptop to your budget. Thier outlet site may also be worth considering

hmm yea ive actually been looking at the dell outlet , the studio 17's
does anyone know if the ATI 3650 would suit my needs?

go to google and type in

"Laptop Graphics Card Comparison"

That should bring up notebook check's awesome laptop gphx card list and in there should be the 3650. i found that site really useful when looking for my laptop just before xmas

On a slightly off topic note, Simian... have you tried overclocking the 9600 in your HDX16?
