Hi, I'm in need of some help. I'm currently looking for a laptop within the budget of £600 to £650. This is where I need the help. Should I be looking for AMD or Intel? Currently I've just been looking at the newer Core 2 Duo processors.
Ideally it should last a long time, be able to play games on it and be capable of lasting through a Vista upgrade. It's a going to be a gift for a few kids. I've checked out the Dell Inspiron 6400. Is that any good? Will it's Intel 950 graphics be able to play games? For gaming - am I better off looking for something with an ATI/Nvidia card onboard? But will this fit within the budget? If someone can spec something for me, it would be great.
