Laptop recommendations - £750

Hi all,

Looking for a laptop for uni but finding it hard to get close to the specs I want.

I'm ideally looking for something with a decent graphics card, and around a 15" screen. I checked out Dell but they only offer a 5470 with their Studio 15 whereas I'd prefer something like the 5650, which they only have in their Studio 17.

Any suggestions? Most places don't seem to let you customize the graphics card?

In almost the same position...my budget is between £600-750. So far I've spotted the Toshiba Satellite Pro L650 which has either a i3-350 (£625) or i5-430 (£745); both with 15" screen and an ATI HD 5650.

Online reviews are OK for the above but not stellar.

Needs something that will handle Civ 5 and Starcraft 2 at decent fps.

I too am in the same position but i'll pay £900 - £1000. Been thinking of the MSI GX740 but is there any other laptops with the same spec as the msi.
