laptop replacement phone ?

not up on mobiles ,but looking for a laptop replacement phone when im at the caravan ,must be a phone (im on 3) and have a big and great screen
anything better than the galaxy note for my purpose ?

seen a deal for £22 month 1000 mins unlimited data after quidco about £100 for phone ,seems ok but as said im cluleless with this subject ,that ics upgrade due looks good though

Wow I checked the unlimited data deals and comparing buying a Note and putting a 3 sim and £15 payg in after cash back the Note works out at £240 and they're on 3, bookmarked the page thanks.

couldnt be more pleased with my note ,virgin media bb cancelled ,the tethering is faster on this . to be honest i find myself using the laptop less as this does most of the things i need i.e my exel spreadsheet stuff ect ect.
downloaded a lot of youtube stuff and films and it all looks amazing.
problem wise ,now and again it wont go to sleep so i downloaded cpu spy ,this tells me straight away if deep sleep mode is activated (ie let screen go blank then run cpu spy) a restart or reset or battery out cures this but now and again killing background apps is needed.
any idea if i can access the iplayer on networked tv (panny g42) using the phones internet and my router ? not ultra bothered but just wondering ?

ah right ,well iplayer streams fine on laptop tethered to phone,suppose i can just plug in via hdmi
