I have just bought a TP-Link (TL-WR340G) wireless router. My laptop is a Packard Ball EasyNote (PB5M01001) - Running XP Pro.

I have the laptop connected directly into my Virgin Media modem via Ethernet which works fine, however when the laptop is conncted to the router I get 'Network Cable Unplugged' and the port light on the router will not go on as if nothing is connected.

I have tried this with another laptop and PC and they connect to the router fine with the same ethernet cable.

Any ideas?

Everything currently set to auto. Cable is fine and have tried other cables with no success.
Have noticed there is also Nvidia Network Bus Enumerator installed?
