Hi, so i am having an issue where when windows blanks the screen when i come back there is no taskbar and if i move the mouse the screen blanks and unblanks. Also if i use any of the windows functionality, same thing (windows key, ctrl+alt+del, task manager). I have to hard reset it at this point. if i lock it however, no issues just if it times out and the screen blanks after e.g. 10 mins
What the **** is causing this, i can't even google it as i don't know what the **** to look for. Background, this laptop from work isnt compatible with linux and has given me ****ing **** tonnes of issues with the locking and then upon trying to unlock has frozen entirely and requires and hard reset in linux (happens on multiple of the same laptops)
Edit: laptop is lenovo t460, don't buy one a potato would be more use
