laptop screen cables.

i have an old laptop screen and i need to make it into a monitor, does anyone know what cables i need to use?

Can't be done without some serious modding. Maxivista will do it though, it's a software solution that installs the laptop screen as a screen on the other PC using a network for transmission: http://www.maxivista.com/

However you would have course need to have the laptop itself and in working order to do it this way.
