Got a lenovo N100 3000 0768, and last week the screen died on it, almost as if the backlight had gone in it, as if viewed from a birds eye view, whats on the screen is just about visable. Obviously though, i don't want to be looking at the screen like this.
I've taken it apart and I've narrowed it down to either, the inverter, the screen itself or the motherboard itself.
It's external display operates fine (if I plug it into a monitor it outputs a picture to the external display).
Before the bottom part of the screen was red for a minute before the laptop warmed up as it were.
I would like to avoid spending as much money as possible, and if it can be helped, I'd like to narrow it down to a specific part before I buy a replacement.
Has anyone got any ideas what could be wrong with it?
