Laptop screen viewing angle.

Is it me or is it general that laptop screen viewing angles are rubbish. If I move mine only a small amount the whole viewing experience changes a lot.

My last laptop (dell 1747) viewing angles was quite bad but it was still nice to use. My current laptop (m18) viewing angles are very good. It hardly changes.
