laptop screens

how come you never hear about laptop screens getting dead pixels, but you do with LCD monitors & TV's? I asume they are produced in the same way as normal LCD monitors/TV. :confused:

you havnt heard of them maybe, but they definatley happen! the ratios are probably the same, but I assume they are getting better. When I bought my laptop nearly three years ago, there were loads of posts on the forum I used about them. I have one 'always red' pixel on my laptop. Im not sure what info your backing up your argument with, but I wouldnt have thought one or the other was better, dead pixels happen to both

no info, but it's just that no1 mentions anything about them, almost like they don't accure
